HKSR Fundraising Publication
The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) is redeveloping its Lam Tin Complex into Wellspring, a new integrated rehabilitation and healthcare hub. I designed a fundraising publication that communicates the project's vision and long-term community impact, helping donors and stakeholders understand how their support could contribute to the future of rehabilitation services in Hong Kong.

Challenge
As Wellspring is still in the planning stage, the challenge was to help donors and stakeholders visualise a rehabilitation hub that has yet to be built. With limited visual material available, the challenge was to help donors imagine the future rehabilitation hub while communicating the growing need for integrated healthcare services. The publication needed to translate a complex redevelopment proposal into a compelling story that encouraged understanding, trust and philanthropic support.
Approach
Working closely with the creative team, we developed an editorial approach that guided readers through the redevelopment journey in a clear and engaging way. Bespoke illustrations were commissioned to help visualise the future facilities, rehabilitation services and community spaces, allowing readers to imagine an environment that has yet to be built. I was responsible for the editorial design and layout, translating the concept into a structured publication with a clear information hierarchy and engaging visual storytelling.
To further engage readers, there is an interactive architectural spread featuring opening window panels. As each window is opened, readers discover the rehabilitation services within the illustrated building, creating a more immersive way to explore the proposed facilities and their role in supporting future patients, families and caregivers.
Outcome
The publication became an important communication tool for HKSR, supporting conversations with donors and stakeholders throughout the redevelopment project. Through a combination of editorial design, illustration and interactive storytelling, it translated a complex healthcare initiative into a clear and engaging vision for the future.
